Terms of Use

1. Application

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Hakorium application and its related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by the operator of this Service (the “Operator”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may not register an account or otherwise use the Service.
2. You must use accurate and current information when registering an account.
3. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and authentication credentials.
4. Activity performed through an account is deemed to be activity by its owner.
5. You may request account deletion by following the instructions in the app.

3. The Service

1. The Service may generate images from pet photos you register and display them in the app or a widget.
2. Generated results may differ from your expectations because of network conditions, submitted data, third-party services, or other factors.
3. Some features may be unavailable depending on your device, operating system, region, plan, or other conditions.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

1. The Service may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
2. Prices, billing periods, features, free trials, and other conditions are shown on the purchase screen.
3. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by the store used for the purchase, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.
4. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled by the stated deadline. Manage or cancel them through your store account settings.
5. Purchased digital content is non-refundable except where required by law or the relevant store’s terms.

5. Photos and generated content

1. You represent that you have all rights or permissions necessary for photos and other data submitted to the Service.
2. You must not submit data that infringes third-party rights, violates law, or is contrary to public order and morals.
3. The Operator handles submitted data only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Service, prevent abuse, and improve quality. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• violate applicable law, these Terms, or public order and morals;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• disrupt the Service or impose an excessive load on it;
• attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or vulnerability probing;
• impersonate another user; or
• engage in conduct the Operator reasonably considers inappropriate.

7. Suspension, changes, and disclaimer

1. The Operator may suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, outages, force majeure, or other unavoidable reasons.
2. The Operator may change or discontinue the Service when necessary. Material changes will be announced in the app or by another appropriate method.
3. The Operator does not warrant that the Service will be defect-free, continuously available, or that generated results will be fit for a particular purpose.
4. Any exclusion or limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.

8. Changes, governing law, and contact

1. The Operator may amend these Terms as permitted by law. Amended Terms take effect when posted on this page or as otherwise stated.
2. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Nagano District Court or Nagano Summary Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes relating to the Service.
